SuperMagnetMan is the e-commerce brand of SM Magnetics, here to make it easy to get the magnets you need for prototyping, testing, or small-scale use. When you're ready for a custom solution—whether that’s a fully engineered magnetic system, simulation support, or a complete assembly—our team at SM Magnetics is ready to help you bring it to life.

About the Product

Neodymium pyramid magnets pair a compact base with a tapered profile that aids registration and anti-slip behavior in fixtures and positioning prototypes. Axial magnetization through height produces strong normal pull to steel while the geometry helps locate parts repeatably. Check holding force with the calculator for your steel and gap, review grade and temperature margins in the material data, and consider protective coatings to improve edge durability in iterative testing.

Useful magnets for sure...

Among the many shapes that magnets are available in, Pyramid shaped magnets are worth experimenting with. Especially when you want to have a concentrated and focused magnetic field in a small area, so to speak. I find the various sizes appealing too.
Because of their field intensity near the tips, I think it would worthwhile (if you had several of the pyramid magnets in close proximity to each other),
to have the combined magnetic fields focused on some pieces of Bismuth or pure Carbon. Why? To temporarily stimulate an anti-gravity like effect with the materials causing levitation to occur.

Pyramid Shaped Magnet

A very powerful and solid magnet. Make sure you don’t get your North and South stuck together. They will smash and crack. Keep them away from each other. The force is too strong
