SuperMagnetMan Neodymium Disc Magnet. Used as medical magnets, holding magnets, sensor magnets, consumer electronics magnets. These small magnets are strong rare earth neodymium magnets also used as automotive magnets.

0.118" (3mm) dia x 0.039" (1mm) thick. Set of 10. N52 Rare Earth Neodymium Disc Magnet, Magnetized through the thickness. Parylene plated.

Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) = 2 sets

Disc Magnets are mainly used in applications where a circular magnet is required to fit into a round hole or round tube.  The size of the diameter of a disc magnet influences the holding strength and magnetic field.  The larger the diameter of a disc magnet the more surface area, which increases the holding force, the pull force, and the profile of the magnetic field.

Disc Magnets can be manufactured with the Director of Magnetization through the thickness or across the diameter. Larger neodymium disc magnets can have multiple poles on the face of the disc magnet, which can significantly increase the holding strength to a ferrous surface.

SM Magnetics, the engineering and manufacturing sister company of SuperMagnetMan, has been assisting Corporate customers for many years with their custom disc magnet applications.  This includes medical magnets and assemblies, sensor magnets, speaker magnets and assemblies, and holding magnets and holding assemblies.
SM Magnetics works with Corporate customers to optimize their design and then manufacture the specific disc magnet or magnetic assembly to meet the required spec.  SM Magnetics has their own ISO certified factories and controls the entire manufacturing process when making individual magnets or entire magnetic sub-assemblies.  For assistance from a technical representative at SM Magnetics, click here for the contact info.
