SuperMagnetMan is the e-commerce brand of SM Magnetics, here to make it easy to get the magnets you need for prototyping, testing, or small-scale use. When you're ready for a custom solution—whether that’s a fully engineered magnetic system, simulation support, or a complete assembly—our team at SM Magnetics is ready to help you bring it to life.
About the Product
Neodymium rectangle magnets — also called rectangular rare earth magnets or block magnets— provide very high force density with flat, stable mounting faces, making them ideal for fixtures and test rigs. Common uses include workholding and jigs, structural prototype assemblies, linear actuators and guides, and array builds for flux-path experiments. The rectangular geometry simplifies alignment, shimming, and air gap tuning during validation. Select grade and magnetization to meet required field strength and temperature margin (standard NdFeB grades operate around 80–100 °C, with high-temperature variants available). Choose coatings to suit the environment, then verify pull with the calculator and review material data and tolerances before moving to production
