About the Product
Samarium Cobalt ring magnets are chosen for elevated-temperature or corrosive prototypes. Common uses include encoders, shaft sensing, and rotor and stator assemblies, with additional applications in magnetic couplings and concentric fixtures. The inner- and outer-diameter geometry simplifies precise, concentric mounting, while axial magnetization produces a clean annular field. SmCo’s high intrinsic coercivity resists demagnetization; review material data and use the calculator to validate operating margins.
