When you're ready for a custom solution—whether that’s a fully engineered magnetic system, simulation support, or a complete assembly—our team at SM Magnetics is ready to help you bring it to life.

About the Product

Radially magnetized neodymium rings generate a continuous magnetic field around the circumference, making them ideal for compact rotor, encoder, and sensor designs. This uniform field improves motor efficiency and reduces torque ripple in brushless DC systems. Radial rings also simplify rotor assembly by eliminating the need for multiple arc segments and ensuring a balanced magnetic field. Select the appropriate grade and temperature rating to meet your performance requirements and confirm dimensions and tolerances before moving to production.

Experimenter

Strong , got what was expected , except one segment inside was much weaker than all the others , returned it.

Needs improvement

These would be perfect if they had a Teflon sleeve instead of brass and if every other magnet was replaced with a piece of Teflon in the shape of each magnet. That way, as the north goes pass the reed switch, it would read as north then north again then north again and so on... Work to be done, Also the ID should be 12.7 mm so that it can fit over a 1/2" shaft perfectly. not 12mm, that is all wrong
